Lito Salle

Lito Salle

Lito Salle's father knew his son would follow in his footsteps and become an artist. After all, Lito's talent was very evident at an early age: Lito started getting lessons from his father at the age of seven.

What Lito's father didn't predict is that his son, a father to four of his own, now exhibits his art all over the world via the mypetinoil.com. Patrons, Lito says, are the biggest source of inspiration. And now he hopes to count on the rest of the world to inspire him in his art.

Lito will be the first to admit that painting pets is not his usual fare. Painting mostly portraits of people prior to mypetinoil.com, he's slowly finding that pets can show the same depth of emotions that his human subjects do. No wonder owners would love to have them on canvas.

His hope is that more and more people will find this site and commission him and other artists for portraits. Despite his talent, it's difficult for an artist to make ends meet, especially in a developing country like the Philippines. Still, with a new and wider audience, he believes he can provide more for his family from his lifelong love of painting. Who knows, there could be another painter or two in the brood.
